naṃdināpahṛte śukre gilite ca viṣādinā | viṣādamagamandaityā hīyamānaraṇotsavāḥ

Translation

ನಂದಿಯು ಶುಕ್ರನನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ, ವಿಷಾದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿದಾಗ ದೈತ್ಯರು ವಿಷಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದರು; ಅವರ ಯುದ್ಧೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಯಿತು।
