ईश्वर उवाच । वरं वृणीष्व भद्रं ते वरदोऽहं तवानघ । यमिच्छसि ददाम्यद्य नात्र कार्या विचारणा
īśvara uvāca | varaṃ vṛṇīṣva bhadraṃ te varado'haṃ tavānagha | yamicchasi dadāmyadya nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
ಈಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಅನಘನೇ! ನಿನಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ. ವರವನ್ನು ಬೇಡು; ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವರದಾತನು. ನೀನು ಏನು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವೆಯೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಇಂದು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ।
