अभिक्रन्दन्कलशं वाज्यर्षति पतिर्दिवः शतधारो विचक्षणः । हरिर्मित्रस्य सदनेषु सीदति मर्मृजानोऽविभिः सिन्धुभिर्वृषा ॥

abhikrन्दán kalaśáṃ vājī́ arṣati pátir diváḥ śatá-dhāro vi-cakṣaṇáḥ | hárir mitrásya sádanēṣu sīdati marmṛjānó ’vi-bhiḥ síndhu-bhir vṛ́ṣā ||

ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ವಾಜಿ (ಬಲವಂತ) ಕಲಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ದಿವದ ಪತಿ, ಶತಧಾರೆ, ವಿಶಾಲದರ್ಶಿ. ಹರಿತವರ್ಣ ಸೋಮನು ಮಿತ್ರನ ಸದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವಿ (ಕುರಿ)ಯ ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ನದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮರ್ಜಿತನಾಗಿ—ವೃಷಾ, ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜನಕಶಕ್ತಿ.
