स मर्मृजान इन्द्रियाय धायस ओभे अन्ता रोदसी हर्षते हितः । वृषा शुष्मेण बाधते वि दुर्मतीरादेदिशानः शर्यहेव शुरुधः ॥
sá marmṛjāná indriyā́ya dhā́yasa ā́ ubhé antā́ ródasī harṣate hitáḥ | vṛ́ṣā śúṣmeṇa bādhate ví durmatī́r ā́dediśānaḥ śaryahéva śurúdhaḥ ||
ಇಂದ್ರನ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಶಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೃಜಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವನು ಎರಡು ರೋದಸಿಗಳ ಅಂತಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹಿತನಾಗಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಶಕ್ತಿವಂತ ವೃಷಭನಂತೆ, ಅವನು ದುರ್ಮತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿ ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅಡ್ಡಿಗಾರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಂತೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ, ಶೂರ ಧಾವಕನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
