Sukta 9.70
हितो न सप्तिरभि वाजमर्षेन्द्रस्येन्दो जठरमा पवस्व । नावा न सिन्धुमति पर्षि विद्वाञ्छूरो न युध्यन्नव नो निदः स्पः ॥
hitó na sáptiḥ abhí vā́jam arṣéndrasye ndo jaṭháram ā́ pavasva | nā́vā na síndhum áti parṣi vidvā́n śū́ro na yúdhyann áva no nidáḥ spaḥ ||
ಹಿತ್ತಿದ ಅಶ್ವದಂತೆ ಬಲದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸು; ಹೇ ಇಂದು (ಸೋಮ), ಇಂದ್ರನ ಜಠರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯು. ದೋಣಿಯಂತೆ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸು—ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ದಾಟಿಸು; ಯುದ್ಧಿಸುವ ವೀರನಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ನಿಂದಾ-ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳು.
