अयं दक्षाय साधनोऽयं शर्धाय वीतये । अयं देवेभ्यो मधुमत्तमः सुतः ॥
Transliteration
ayáṃ dákṣāya sā́dhano ’yáṃ śárdhāya vītáye | ayáṃ devébhyo mádhumattamaḥ sutáḥ ||
Translation
ಈ ಸೋಮನು ದಕ್ಷ (dakṣa)ಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧಕನು—ಸಿದ್ಧಿಕರನು; ಈದು ಶರ್ಧ (śardha)ಕ್ಕೆ, ಅವರ ಯಥೋಚಿತ ಭೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ. ಈ ಪಿಷಿತ (ಸುತ) ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಧುಮಯ—ಅತಿಮಧುರ, ಆನಂದಘನವಾಗಿದೆ.
