सं वत्स इव मातृभिरिन्दुर्हिन्वानो अज्यते । देवावीर्मदो मतिभिः परिष्कृतः ॥
Transliteration
saṃ vatsa iva mātṛbhir índur hinvā́no ajyate | devāvī́r mádo matíbhiḥ páriṣkṛtaḥ ||
Translation
ಮಾತೃಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೊಡನೆ ಕರುದಂತೆ, ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಇಂದು (ಸೋಮ) ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನಾಗಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ದೇವರ ವೀರತೆಯನ್ನು ತರುವ ಈ ಮದ, ಶುದ್ಧೀಕೃತ ಮತಿಗಳು (ಚಿಂತನಾ-ಧಾರೆಗಳು) ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
