tám arkébhiḥ tám sā́mabhis tám gā́yatraiś carṣáṇayaḥ | índraṃ vardhanti kṣitáyaḥ ||

ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅರ್ಕಗಳಿಂದ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳಿಂದ), ಸಾಮಗಳಿಂದ (ಸಾಮಗಾನಗಳಿಂದ), ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಯತ್ರಿ ಛಂದಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮಾನವ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು (ಕ್ಷಿತಯಃ) ಇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ—ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಲೆಂದು.
