आ नो मित्रावरुणा हव्यजुष्टिं घृतैर्गव्यूतिमुक्षतमिळाभिः । प्रति वामत्र वरमा जनाय पृणीतमुद्नो दिव्यस्य चारोः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no mitrāvaruṇā havyájuṣṭiṃ ghṛtáir gavyū́tim ukṣatam íḷābhiḥ | práti vā́m atra váram ā́ jánāya pṛṇītám udnó divyásya cā́roḥ ||

Translation

ಹೇ ಮಿತ್ರ-ವರುಣ, ಹವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಘೃತದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಳಾ (ಪ್ರೇರಣಾಧಾರೆಗಳು)ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ಗವ್ಯೂತಿ—ಮೇಯಲುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿರಿ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿರಿ—ದಿವ್ಯ ಉದ್ನ (ಕೂಪು/ಸ್ರೋತ)ದ ಮಧುರ ಹರಿವಿನಿಂದ.
