यस्य प्रयाणमन्वन्य इद्ययुर्देवा देवस्य महिमानमोजसा । यः पार्थिवानि विममे स एतशो रजांसि देवः सविता महित्वना ॥
Transliteration
yásya prayā́ṇam ánv anyá íd yayúr devā́ devásya mahimā́nam ójasā | yáḥ pā́rthivāni vimamé sá etáśo rajā́ṃsi deváḥ savitā́ mahitvanā́ ||
Translation
ಯಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ನಂತರ ಇತರ ದೇವರೂ ಬಲದಿಂದ ದೇವನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಯಾರು ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯಿಸಿ ಹಂಚಿದನೋ; ಆ ದೇವ ಸವಿತಾ, ವೇಗಶಾಲಿ ಏತಶ ಅಶ್ವಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ತನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವದಿಂದ ರಜಾಂಸಿ (ವಿಸ್ತಾರಗಳನ್ನು) ಅಳೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
