Sukta 5.44
यो जागार तमृचः कामयन्ते यो जागार तमु सामानि यन्ति । यो जागार तमयं सोम आह तवाहमस्मि सख्ये न्योकाः ॥
yó jāgā́ra tám ṛ́caḥ kāmayante yó jāgā́ra tám u sāmā́ni yanti | yó jāgā́ra tám ayám sóma āha távā́ham asmi sakhyé nyòkāḥ ||
ಯಾರು ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ—ಅವನನ್ನು ಋಚಗಳು ಬಯಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಯಾರು ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ—ಅವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಾಮಗಾನಗಳು ಸಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಯಾರು ಜಾಗೃತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ—ಅವನ ಕುರಿತು ಈ ಸೋಮನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ: ‘ಸಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನವನು, ನಿನ್ನೊಡನೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವವನು.’
