किं नो अस्य द्रविणं कद्ध रत्नं वि नो वोचो जातवेदश्चिकित्वान् । गुहाध्वनः परमं यन्नो अस्य रेकु पदं न निदाना अगन्म ॥
kíṃ no asyá dráviṇaṃ kád dha rátnam ví no voco jātavedas cikitvā́n | guhā́dhvanaḥ paramáṃ yán no asyá réku padáṃ ná nidānā́ áganma ||
ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಅವನ ನಿಜವಾದ ದ್ರವಿಣವೇನು? ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನ ರತ್ನವೇನು? ಹೇ ಜಾತವೇದಸ್, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದವನೇ, ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ವಾದಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅನ್ವೇಷಕರಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ—ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿರುವ ಆ ಪರಮ ಪದಕ್ಕೆ, ಅವನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ.
