Sukta 2.35
अस्मै बहूनामवमाय सख्ये यज्ञैर्विधेम नमसा हविर्भिः । सं सानु मार्ज्मि दिधिषामि बिल्मैर्दधाम्यन्नैः परि वन्द ऋग्भिः ॥
asmái bahūnā́m avamā́ya sákhyē yajñáir vidhema námasā havírbhiḥ | sáṃ sā́nu mārjmi dídhiṣāmi bílmair dadhā́my ánnaiḥ pári vande ṛ́g-bhiḥ ||
ಅವನಿಗೆ—ಅನೇಕರಿಗೂ ದೀನರಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಸಖನಾದವನಿಗೆ—ನಾವು ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಿಂದ, ನಮಸ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ, ಹವಿರ್ಭಿಃ (ಆಹುತಿಗಳಿಂದ) ಯಜನ ಮಾಡೋಣ. ನಾನು ಶಿಖರವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ದೃಢ ಆಧಾರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅನ್ನ-ಪೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಋಗ್ಭಿಃ (ಸ್ತುತಿಮಂತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ) ಅವನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು ವಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
