Sukta 10.82
न तं विदाथ य इमा जजानान्यद्युष्माकमन्तरं बभूव । नीहारेण प्रावृता जल्प्या चासुतृप उक्थशासश्चरन्ति ॥
ná táṃ vidātha yá imā́ jajā́nānyád yuṣmā́kam ántaraṃ babhūva | nīhāréṇa prā́vṛtā jálpyā cāsutṛ́pa ukthaśā́sāś caranti ||
ಇವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಜನ್ಮಕೊಟ್ಟವನನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮಂಜಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವಾಗ್ವಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿ, ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಉಕ್ಥ-ಶಾಸ (ಸ್ತೋತ್ರೋಚ್ಚಾರಕರು) ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಸಾರದ ನಿಜ ಪಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
