Sukta 10.76
तदु श्रेष्ठं सवनं सुनोतनात्यो न हस्तयतो अद्रिः सोतरि । विदद्ध्यर्यो अभिभूति पौंस्यं महो राये चित्तरुते यदर्वतः ॥
tád u śréṣṭhaṃ sávanaṃ sunotanā́tyo na hástayato ádriḥ sótari | vidád dhy àryó abhíbhūti paúṃsyaṃ mahó rāyé cit tarute yád árvataḥ ||
ಆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸವನವನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆ; ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಶ್ವದಂತೆ, ಹೇ ಸೋಟರಿ (ಪೀಡಕ), ಅದ್ರಿ (ಪೀಡನಶಿಲೆ) ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಆರ್ಯನು (ಉದಾತ್ತನು) ಜಯಕರ ಪೌಂಸ್ಯ (ಪುರುಷಾರ್ಥ)ವನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಯಥಾವಿಧಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಲಾದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಮಹಾ ಧನವನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸವನವು ಕೇವಲ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯ-ಭೋಗಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪರಮ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ.
