किं न इन्द्र जिघांससि भ्रातरो मरुतस्तव । तेभिः कल्पस्व साधुया मा नः समरणे वधीः ॥
Transliteration
kíṃ na indra jighāṃsasi bhrā́taro marútas táva | tébhiḥ kalpasva sādhuyā́ mā naḥ samáraṇe vadhīḥ ||
Translation
ಓ ಇಂದ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೀ? ಮರುತರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರು. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸದುಪಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಾಗು; ಸಮರದ ಸಂಘರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬೀಳಿಸಬೇಡ.
