न नूनमस्ति नो श्वः कस्तद्वेद यदद्भुतम् । अन्यस्य चित्तमभि संचरेण्यमुताधीतं वि नश्यति ॥
Transliteration
ná nūnám ásti nó śváḥ kás tád veda yád ádbhutam | anyásya cittám abhí sáṃcareṇyam utā́dhītaṃ ví naśyati ||
Translation
ಇಲ್ಲ ಈಗ, ಇಲ್ಲ ನಾಳೆ—ಆ ಅದ್ಭುತವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಿಳಿಯಬಲ್ಲರು? ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರ ಚಿತ್ತವು ಸಂಚರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಂತಿದೆ; ಆದರೂ ಕಲಿತದ್ದೂ ನಾಶವಾಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಾಧಕನು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರ ಋತ (ಸತ್ಯ-ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ)ದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಿ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಚಂಚಲ ಆಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ.
