Sukta 1.111
आ तक्षत सातिमस्मभ्यमृभवः सातिं रथाय सातिमर्वते नरः । सातिं नो जैत्रीं सं महेत विश्वहा जामिमजामिं पृतनासु सक्षणिम् ॥
ā tákṣata sātím asmábhyam ṛbhavaḥ sātíṃ rathā́ya sātím árvate naraḥ | sātíṃ no jáitrīṃ sáṃ maheta viśvá-hā jāmím ajā́mim pṛ́tanāsu sákṣaṇim ||
ಓ ಋಭುಗಳೇ, ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಜಯಕರವಾದ ಸಾತಿಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿರಿ—ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ರಥಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾತಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣಬಲದ ಅಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾತಿ, ಓ ನರರೇ (ಶಕ್ತಿವಂತರೇ). ನಮ್ಮಿಗಾಗಿ ಆ ಜಯಸಾತಿ ಸದಾ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ—ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಥಳಾಗಿ, ಸಮೀಪದ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಜನ್ಯ (ಜಾಮಿ) ಮತ್ತು ಪರಕೀಯ/ಅಪರಿಚಿತ (ಅಜಾಮಿ) ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸುವವಳಾಗಿ.
