Sarga 75: Bharata and Kausalya—Reproach, Oaths, and Reconciliation
परिपालयमानस्य राज्ञो भूतानि पुयत्रवत्।ततस्नु दुह्यतां पापं यस्याऽर्योऽनुमते गतः।।।।
paripālayamānasya rājño bhūtāni putravat |
tatas tu druhyatāṁ pāpaṁ yasyāryo 'numate gataḥ ||
ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪುತ್ರರಂತೆ ಪಾಲಿಸುವ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಪಾಪವು, ಯಾರ ಸಲಹೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆರ್ಯ ಸಹೋದರನು ವನವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನೋ ಅವನಿಗೇ ಸೇರಲಿ.
May the one who counselled the exile of my esteemed brother acquire the sin in the same way as a man acting treacherously against a king who rules like a father and protects his subjects like his own children, acquires.
