FAQs

It links life at a sacred tirtha (the Gaṅgā’s bank) with dharmic order, emphasizing that even daily acts like eating follow sanctified time-divisions connected with Devas and Ṛṣis.

Bhakti here is expressed as reverent discipline: aligning one’s routine with sacred time (pūrvāhṇa, madhyāhna) while living at the Gaṅgā-tīra, treating daily conduct as an offering within tirtha-dharma.

It reflects Jyotiṣa-style time-division and ritual scheduling (pūrvāhṇa/madhyāhna), a practical framework used to time dharmic acts such as bhojana and related observances.
