रसो दाहेन तद्युक्तं प्रभादाहेन तद्युता । ज्या च दाहेन तद्युक्ता नित्याक्लिन्नांतगद्वयम् ॥ ८९ ॥
raso dāhena tadyuktaṃ prabhādāhena tadyutā | jyā ca dāhena tadyuktā nityāklinnāṃtagadvayam || 89 ||
‘ರಸ’ವನ್ನು ‘ದಾಹ’ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು; ‘ಪ್ರಭಾ’ವನ್ನು ‘ಪ್ರಭಾ-ದಾಹ’ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೇರಿಸಬೇಕು; ‘ಜ್ಯಾ’ವನ್ನೂ ‘ದಾಹ’ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು—ಇಂತೆ ‘ನಿತ್ಯಾಕ್ಲಿನ್ನಾ’ ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗುವ ಎರಡು ಪದಗಳು ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ.
