शून्ययुग्मं चरयुतं ततः पूर्वमतः परम् । शून्ययुग्मं च गोत्रा स्याद्वाहयुक्तांबुना चरः ॥ ६३ ॥
śūnyayugmaṃ carayutaṃ tataḥ pūrvamataḥ param | śūnyayugmaṃ ca gotrā syādvāhayuktāṃbunā caraḥ || 63 ||
ಶೂನ್ಯಯುಗ್ಮವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ‘ಚರ’ ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ; ನಂತರ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪರವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಶೂನ್ಯಯುಗ್ಮವನ್ನು ‘ಗೋತ್ರ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ‘ಚರ’ ‘ವಾಹ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಅಂಬು’ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದರೆ ಉದ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ।
