ಗಿರಿಕರ್ಣಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಮವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು ವಶರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಕಹ್ಲಾರ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಭೂಮಿಜ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಜರು; ಕರ್ಣಿಕಾರ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ಆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ವಧು ವಶವಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ।
