The Account of Hanumān
आवाहनादीनुपचारांरतथापि कृत्वा स्नानं पूर्ववच्छंकरस्य । औदुंबरं राजतं स्वर्णपीठं वस्त्रादिच्छन्नं सर्वमेवेह पीठम् ॥ ४५ ॥
āvāhanādīnupacārāṃratathāpi kṛtvā snānaṃ pūrvavacchaṃkarasya | auduṃbaraṃ rājataṃ svarṇapīṭhaṃ vastrādicchannaṃ sarvameveha pīṭham || 45 ||
ಆವಾಹನಾದಿ ಉಪಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಪೂರ್ವೋಕ್ತ ವಿಧಾನದಂತೆ ಶಂಕರನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪೀಠವು ಉದುಂಬರ ಮರದಿಂದಲೋ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದಲೋ, ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೋ ಇರಲಿ; ವಸ್ತ್ರಾದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆವೃತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
