कूटतुल्याः स्मृता नित्ये सामान्येऽथ विशेषके । रुद्राः कूटगणाः प्रोक्ता न पात्रे नियमो मतः ॥ २४ ॥

Transliteration

kūṭatulyāḥ smṛtā nitye sāmānye'tha viśeṣake | rudrāḥ kūṭagaṇāḥ proktā na pātre niyamo mataḥ || 24 ||

Translation

ನಿತ್ಯಕರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವು ‘ಕೂಟ’ ಸಮಾನವೆಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ರುದ್ರರು ‘ಕೂಟ-ಗಣ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರ (ಗ್ರಾಹಕ) ಕುರಿತು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ ನಿಯಮವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮತ॥೨೪॥
