Transliteration

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | kiṃ lakṣaṇā bhāgavatā jāyante kena karmmaṇā | etadicchāmyahaṃ śrotuṃ kautūhalaparo yataḥ || 48 ||

Translation

ಮಾರ್ಕಂಡೇಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಭಾಗವತರ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಯಾವುವು? ಯಾವ ಕರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
