Narada (in dialogue with Sanatkumara tradition; addressing a devarṣi)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches disciplined Surya-upāsanā: after the purificatory sprinkling, one approaches the Sun with auspicious hand-gesture (svastika añjali), showing reverence to the cosmic source of light, order, and dharma.
Bhakti here is expressed through embodied reverence—standing before Bhāskara with a sacred gesture and regulated posture—showing that devotion in the Purāṇic tradition is both inner faith and correct ritual conduct.
It reflects ritual procedure and gesture-discipline aligned with traditional practice, and it implicitly connects to Jyotiṣa/solar observance by centering worship on Bhāskara and yuga-wise ritual variation.
