Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual-calendar context to the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes that dharma-based observances depend on correct sacred time (kāla); accurate tithi computation safeguards the purity of vrata, pūjā, and meritorious acts.
By ensuring the correct tithi and subdivisions of time, a devotee performs worship and vows at their proper moments, aligning bhakti-practice with scriptural timing (śāstra-kāla).
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga: it references computational steps using units like kalā and lava and corrections like laṃbana to determine tithi accurately for ritual scheduling.
