इष्टैः पलैस्तदूनाढ्यं व्यगावूनेऽर्कषङ्गुणः । तदन्यथाधिके तस्मिन्नेवं स्पष्टे सुखांत्यगे ॥ १५७ ॥
iṣṭaiḥ palaistadūnāḍhyaṃ vyagāvūne'rkaṣaṅguṇaḥ | tadanyathādhike tasminnevaṃ spaṣṭe sukhāṃtyage || 157 ||
ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಪಲಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ-ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದರೆ ಫಲವೂ ತದನುಸಾರ ಕಡಿಮೆ-ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಡಿಮೆ ಒಂದು ‘ವ್ಯಗಾವ’ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಫಲ ಸೂರ್ಯ-ಗುಣವೆಂದರೆ ಆರು ಪಟ್ಟು ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು—ಇಂತೆ ಗಣನೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಸುಖ-ಫಲ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ।
