स्वरितेदुर्णुञाख्यातो धातुरेको मुनीश्वर । घुमुखास्त्रय उद्दिष्टाः परस्मैपदिनस्तथा ॥ ३९ ॥

ಹೇ ಮುನೀಶ್ವರ, ‘ಸ್ವರಿತ–ಏದ್–ಉರ್–ಣುಞ್’ ಎಂಬ ಒಂದೇ ಧಾತು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ‘ಘು’ದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಮೂರು ರೂಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವುಗಳೂ ಪರಸ್ಮೈಪದೀ ಎಂದು ಗಣ್ಯ.
