ऋग्वेदोऽथ यजुर्वेदः सामवेदो ह्यथर्वणः । वेदाश्चत्वार एवैते प्रोक्ता धर्मनिरूपणे ॥ ११ ॥

ಋಗ್ವೇದ, ಯಜುರ್ವೇದ, ಸಾಮವೇದ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥರ್ವವೇದ—ಇವೆಯೇ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವೇದಗಳು ಎಂದು, ಧರ್ಮನಿರೂಪಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ।
