योगस्वरूप-धारणा-समाधि-वर्णनम् (केशिध्वजोपदेशः)
तदेकावयवं चैवं चेतसा हि पुनर्बुधः । कुर्यात्ततोऽवयविनि प्रणिधानपरो भवेत् ॥ ६५ ॥
tadekāvayavaṃ caivaṃ cetasā hi punarbudhaḥ | kuryāttato'vayavini praṇidhānaparo bhavet || 65 ||
ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದು ಅವಯವವನ್ನು ಆಧಾರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವಯವಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಪರತತ್ತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಢ ಪ್ರಣಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ।

It teaches a meditative method: begin with a manageable focus (a single part) and then expand awareness to the integrated whole, culminating in steady praṇidhāna—absorbed contemplation that supports liberation (mokṣa).
Even when approached through contemplation, the movement from a partial focus to the ‘whole’ trains the heart-mind to rest steadily in the highest object of reverence; such sustained praṇidhāna naturally matures into devoted, uninterrupted remembrance akin to bhakti.
Rather than a Vedāṅga technicality, the verse highlights practical yoga-sādhana: a stepwise concentration technique (from part to whole) for stabilizing attention and deepening meditation.
