The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata
यावज्जीवं तु वा नार्या कार्य्यं सौभाग्यवांछया । व्रतेनानेन सदृशं स्त्रीणां सौभाग्यदायकम् ॥ ५० ॥
yāvajjīvaṃ tu vā nāryā kāryyaṃ saubhāgyavāṃchayā | vratenānena sadṛśaṃ strīṇāṃ saubhāgyadāyakam || 50 ||
ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಜೀವನಪೂರ್ತಿ ಈ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗೆ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ವ್ರತ ಮತ್ತೊಂದಿಲ್ಲ।
