Adhyaya 41Yogic Conduct and the Discipline Leading to Siddhi

अत ऊर्ध्वं पश्चापि अदुष्टापतितेषु च । भैक्ष्यचर्या विवर्णेषु जघन्या वृत्तिरिष्यते ॥

ata ūrdhvaṃ paścāpi aduṣṭāpatiteṣu ca | bhaikṣyacaryā vivarṇeṣu jaghanyā vṛttir iṣyate ||

ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಪತಿತರಾದವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ವರ್ಣಕ್ರಮದ ಹೊರಗಿನವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ (ವಿವರ್ಣ), ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವುದು ಅತೀನಿಮ್ನ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ।
