रूपवान् सुभगो दान्त: सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रिय: । दानमानगृहीतश्न कार्यो भवति वाचक:
rūpavān subhago dāntaḥ satyavādī jitendriyaḥ | dānamānagṛhītaś ca kāryo bhavati vācakaḥ ||
ರೂಪವಂತನಾಗಿ, ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿ, ದಾಂತನಾಗಿ (ಸಂಯಮಿ), ಸತ್ಯವಾದಿಯಾಗಿ, ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಪಂಡಿತನನ್ನು ದಾನಮಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ವಾಚಕನಾಗಿ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು.
