सूर्यास्तमनमिच्छन्तस्त्वरमाणा महारथा: । उन महारथियोंने सूर्यास्तकी इच्छा रखते हुए बड़ी उतावलीके साथ अपने रथसमूहको परस्पर सटाकर सब ओरसे खड़ा कर दिया

Transliteration

sūryāstamanam icchantas tvaramāṇā mahārathāḥ |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತ ತ್ವರಿತಗೊಂಡ ಆ ಮಹಾರಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ರಥಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದಲೂ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತರು.
