आपो॒ यद् वो॒ हर॒स्तेन॒ तं प्रति॑ हरत॒ यो॒३स्मान् द्वेष्टि॒ यं व॒यं द्वि॒ष्मः
ā́po yád vo háraḥ téna táṃ práti harata yó ’smā́n dvéṣṭi yáṃ vayáṃ dvíṣmaḥ
O Waters, what taking-away power is yours—therewith bear him back in requital, even him who hateth us, whom we ourselves do hate.
ಓ ಆಪಃ (ಜಲದೇವತೆಗಳೇ), ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹರಣ-ಶಕ್ತಿ (ಹರಃ) ಅದೇ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಿರಿ—ಯಾರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸಹ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತೇವೋ.
