एकचक्रं वर्तत एकनेमि सहस्राक्षरं प्र पुरो नि पश्चा । अर्धेन विश्वं भुवनं जजान यदस्यार्धं क्व१तद् बभूव
ékacakraṃ vartata ékanemi sahásrākṣaraṃ prá púro ní paścā́ | ardhéna víśvaṃ bhúvanaṃ jajā́na yád asyā́rdhaṃ kvà tád babhūva
One-wheeled it turns, one-rimmed, of a thousand syllables, moving forward—moving after. With half it generated all the world of being: where, then, was the other half of it become?
ಒಂದು ಚಕ್ರದದು ಅದು ತಿರುಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಒಂದೇ ನೇಮಿಯದು; ಸಾವಿರ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳದು—ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದರ ಅರ್ಧದಿಂದಲೇ ಅದು ಸಕಲ ಭುವನವನ್ನು, ಸರ್ವ ಸತ್ತೆಯ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಜನ್ಮಗೊಳಿಸಿತು; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅದರ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಅರ್ಧ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಿತು?
