देवदेव उवाच तस्यां तपत्यां नरसत्तमेन जातः सुतः पार्थिवलक्षणस्तु स जातकर्मादिभिरेव संस्कृतो विवर्द्धताज्येन हुतो यथाग्निः

devadeva uvāca tasyāṃ tapatyāṃ narasattamena jātaḥ sutaḥ pārthivalakṣaṇastu sa jātakarmādibhireva saṃskṛto vivarddhatājyena huto yathāgniḥ

ព្រះទេវទេវ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ក្នុងនាង តបតី នោះ ដោយបុរសល្អឥតខ្ចោះ បានកើតកូនប្រុសមួយ មានលក្ខណៈនៃព្រះមហាក្សត្រ។ គេបានធ្វើសំស្ការ តាមពិធីកំណើត ចាប់ពី ជាតកರ್ಮ (jāta-karma) ជាដើម ដោយត្រឹមត្រូវ; ហើយគាត់បានលូតលាស់ ដូចភ្លើងដែលត្រូវបានបំប៉នដោយឃី (ghee) កាន់តែច្រើន។
