वृद्धौ हर्षमवाप्नोति क्षये भवति दुःखितः । इत्येषा लौकिकी गाथा तत्ते दैत्य विपर्ययः
vṛddhau harṣamavāpnoti kṣaye bhavati duḥkhitaḥ | ityeṣā laukikī gāthā tatte daitya viparyayaḥ
«នៅពេលរុងរឿង មនុស្សទទួលបានសេចក្តីរីករាយ; នៅពេលធ្លាក់ចុះ ក៏ក្លាយជាទុក្ខ»—នេះជាពាក្យសម្រង់ទូទៅក្នុងលោក។ តែសម្រាប់អ្នក ឱ ដៃត្យ វាវិញផ្ទុយទៅវិញ។
