हास्यं चकार दैत्योऽथ विष्णुनाऽक्रांतकंधरः । तमाह पुण्डरीकाक्ष किमेतद्धास्यकारणम्
hāsyaṃ cakāra daityo'tha viṣṇunā'krāṃtakaṃdharaḥ | tamāha puṇḍarīkākṣa kimetaddhāsyakāraṇam
បន្ទាប់មក ដៃត្យ—ករត្រូវបានព្រះវិṣṇuជាន់ទប់—បានសើច។ ព្រះបុណ្ឌរីកាក្ស (ព្រះមានភ្នែកដូចផ្កាឈូក) ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់វា៖ «ហេតុអ្វីបានជាសើចដូច្នេះ?»
