Viṣṇu
Tirtha: Taptodaka (implied forthcoming tīrtha within Prabhāsa)
Type: kund
Scene: Viṣṇu addresses Śaṅkara with respectful urgency, requesting hot water to remove fatigue; Rudra stands attentive, ready to act; the ground/terrain is subtly emphasized as the soon-to-be source of water.
The gods establish tīrthas for the welfare of beings; divine compassion expresses itself through sacred waters that relieve suffering.
Taptodakuṇḍa (the hot-water sacred pool) within Prabhāsa Kṣetra.
The verse foreshadows snāna (bathing) in hot sacred water as a means to remove exhaustion and, by extension, impurity.
