प्रह्लाद उवाच । पूर्वं हि देवराजेन बृहस्पतिरुदारधीः । प्रणम्य परया भक्त्या पृष्टश्च स महामतिः
prahlāda uvāca | pūrvaṃ hi devarājena bṛhaspatirudāradhīḥ | praṇamya parayā bhaktyā pṛṣṭaśca sa mahāmatiḥ
ព្រះហ្លាទៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ កាលពីមុន ព្រះបុរូហិត ប្រាហ្មណ៍បૃហស្បតិ អ្នកមានបញ្ញាខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ និងចិត្តធំ ត្រូវបានស្តេចទេវៈ (រាជានៃទេវតា) ក្រាបបង្គំដោយភក្តិដ៏អតិបរិសុទ្ធ ហើយសួរបញ្ហាដោយព្រះអង្គ។
