ऋषय ऊचुः । शिवरात्रिः कथं जाता केनैषा च विनिर्मिता । कस्माद्बहुफला जाता सर्वं नो विस्तराद्वद
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | śivarātriḥ kathaṃ jātā kenaiṣā ca vinirmitā | kasmādbahuphalā jātā sarvaṃ no vistarādvada
ព្រះឥសីទាំងឡាយបានទូលថា៖ «ពិធីសិវរាត្រីកើតមានដូចម្តេច? អ្នកណាបានបង្កើតវា? ហេតុអ្វីបានជាវាមានផលបុណ្យច្រើនដល់如此? សូមប្រាប់យើងទាំងអស់ដោយលម្អិត»។
