वाण्युवाच । बिल्वपत्रस्य माहात्म्यं कथितुं नैव शक्यते । तवोद्देशेन वक्ष्यामि महेन्द्र शृणु तत्त्वतः
vāṇyuvāca | bilvapatrasya māhātmyaṃ kathituṃ naiva śakyate | tavoddeśena vakṣyāmi mahendra śṛṇu tattvataḥ
វាណីបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «មហិមារបស់ស្លឹកបិល្វ មិនអាចពណ៌នាឲ្យអស់បានទេ។ ទោះយ៉ាងណា ដើម្បីអ្នកឯង ឱ មហេន្ទ្រា ខ្ញុំនឹងនិយាយបង្ហាញ—សូមស្តាប់ដោយយល់ដល់សច្ចៈជាក់ស្តែង»។
