सूत उवाच । शृणुध्वं मुनयः सर्वे चातुर्मास्यव्रतोद्भवम् । माहात्म्यं विस्तरेणैव कथयिष्यामि वोऽग्रतः
sūta uvāca | śṛṇudhvaṃ munayaḥ sarve cāturmāsyavratodbhavam | māhātmyaṃ vistareṇaiva kathayiṣyāmi vo'grataḥ
សូតបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ សូមស្តាប់ចុះ ព្រះមុនីទាំងអស់គ្នា អំពីប្រភពកំណើតនៃវ្រតចាតុರ್ಮាស្យ; ខ្ញុំនឹងពោលព្រះមហិមារបស់វា ដោយលម្អិតទាំងស្រុង នៅចំពោះមុខអ្នកទាំងអស់។
