सूत उवाच । पूर्वं तत्र महारण्ये नानामृगगणावृते । नानाविहंगसंघुष्टे नानावृक्षसमाकुले
sūta uvāca | pūrvaṃ tatra mahāraṇye nānāmṛgagaṇāvṛte | nānāvihaṃgasaṃghuṣṭe nānāvṛkṣasamākule
សូតាបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «កាលពីមុន នៅទីនោះមានព្រៃធំមហិមា ព័ទ្ធពេញដោយហ្វូងសត្វម្រឹគជាច្រើនប្រភេទ សូរសត្វបក្សីនានាអឺងកង ហើយពេញទៅដោយដើមឈើជាច្រើនពូជ។»
