ដោយបានយល់ច្បាស់អំពីគោលបំណងនៃពិធី ស្រាទ្ធ (Śrāddha) ពួកទេវតាបានរៀបចំមន្ត្រមួយរួមគ្នា—ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ—គឺ អាទិត្យៈ (Ādityas) វសុ (Vasus) រុទ្រ (Rudras) និងនាសត្យៈទាំងពីរ (អશ્વិន) ផងដែរ។
