amānāma rave raśmisahasrapramukhaḥ sthitaḥ | tasminvasati yenenduramāvāsyā tataḥ smṛtā

នៅថ្ងៃដែលហៅថា «អមា» ព្រះអាទិត្យឈរលេចឡើងដោយកាំរស្មីពាន់ដ៏ប្រសើរ; ហើយព្រោះព្រះចន្ទត្រូវបានគេនិយាយថាស្នាក់នៅក្នុងព្រះអាទិត្យនៅពេលនោះ ដូច្នេះថ្ងៃនោះត្រូវបានចងចាំថា «អមាវាស្យា»។
