विश्वामित्र उवाच । प्रश्नभारो महानेष त्वया मे परिकीर्तितः । तथापि च वदिष्यामि यदि ते कौतुकं नृप । यस्मात्सञ्जायते दोषश्चूर्णपत्रस्य भक्षणात्
viśvāmitra uvāca | praśnabhāro mahāneṣa tvayā me parikīrtitaḥ | tathāpi ca vadiṣyāmi yadi te kautukaṃ nṛpa | yasmātsañjāyate doṣaścūrṇapatrasya bhakṣaṇāt
វិશ્વាមិត្រ បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ សំណួរដ៏ធ្ងន់ធ្ងរនេះ អ្នកបានសួរខ្ញុំហើយ។ ទោះយ៉ាងណា បើព្រះរាជាមានចិត្តចង់ដឹង ខ្ញុំនឹងពន្យល់ថា ហេតុអ្វីបានជាកំហុសកើតឡើង ពីការញ៉ាំល្បាយស្លឹកបុកជាម្សៅ។
